Barista

After leaving high school, Emil moved to New Zealand, where he found his passion as a host and while studying in Melbourne, Australia, discovered his love of coffee. After completing his bachelor's degree in Aberdeen, Scotland, he opened Barista - Speciality Coffee & Bar in St. Gallen in the summer of 2017. He completed his first coffee roasting course in March 2020, followed by further courses in 2022 and 2023, most recently in Dubai. At the beginning of 2023, the time had finally come and Emil opened his own coffee roastery: Barista - Roastery & School of Coffee. Since 2023, Emil has also held the title of "Coffee Sommelier" and not only continues his personal training, but also regularly passes on his knowledge at courses and events.
